Kirsten Osborne is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her M.A. in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2012. A native of Roanoke, Kirsten returned to the area to start her counseling career in 2013. She has worked in community, school, and hospital settings providing therapy and assessment, crisis intervention, and coordinating services. She has been in private practice since 2018 and works with adults as well as some children and adolescents using a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, play therapy, and expressive arts. Kirsten strives to create a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration and personal growth and is passionate about peaceful parenting and holistic approaches to wellness. In addition to her work as a therapist, Kirsten also has a background as a professional musician and uses creativity to gain deeper understanding and self-empowerment.
